About Special Needs

Is a student in your classroom displaying a unique learning style? Help that student be most successful by identifying their needs and challenges. Below are some of the types of students we have worked with in our program and how you might identify these types of students in your classroom.

My daughter loves her dance class at Atlanta Dance Central and really looks forward to attending every week! She takes great pride in learning the dance moves and preparing for the recital. This class offers so many wonderful benefits — it enhances her ability to focus, strengthens her physical stamina and boosts her confidence and self-esteem. And she has the best time just being with her dance friends 🙂

Charlotte and her team of instructors have created an incredible program for girls with Down syndrome. The dancers have grown immensely from SO many aspects of the program, including them working as a team, committing to dance practices, achieving a common goal, overcoming their individual obstacles (sometimes medical, sometimes personal) ALL while respecting their peers and instructors- and the dancers’ friendships keep growing, too! Most importantly for them- they have FUN!!
